A softly etched glass cabochon handmade by me in my garden shed also known as 'The Melting Pot'. The cabochon is reminiscent of seaglass with its soft, tumbled effect finish. It is cut from a multi-layered sheet of glass which is then cut into small chunks and stood on end so the layers melt out into stripes in a subsequent kiln firing. Each piece is completely unique. The cabochon is finished with a simple roll-top Sterling Silver bail and strung from an 18inch Sterling Silver corb chain.
