An 'optic' bowl created using stacks of squares of clear glass over stripy glass which in the heat of the kiln push the stripes aside into the uncapped areas creating the lense effect.
The bowl would make a lovely decorative piece but would work equally well as a functional dish for sweeties or car keys etc.
